Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, blend the soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts into a resealable plastic bag or dish, then pour the marinade over them. Seal and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, ideally overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- After marinating, remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for 6 to 7 minutes on each side, or bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until it’s cooked through and the juices run clear.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
- Serve the grilled chicken alongside steamed rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
Notes
For the best flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
