Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easier removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup, peanut butter or almond butter, vanilla extract, and baking powder to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  4. Fold in the optional nuts or dried fruit for added flavor and texture.
Baking
  1. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the edges turn slightly golden.

Notes
